New Faculty Announcement: Jamie Kling, DO

We are pleased Jamie Kling, DO, has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
Starting April 1, 2017, Dr. Kling will be caring for patients in the UW Health Portage Clinic, teaching medical students and other learners, and participating in med/peds faculty call and nursing home care, in addition to serving as an educator in the statewide DO residency program.
Dr. Kling has a medical degree from Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.   After completing his education, he completed a Family Medicine internship at University of Wisconsin and then a Family Medicine residency within the University of Wisconsin Rural Training Track in Baraboo, WI.  Before coming to the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, Dr. Kling worked as a Family Medicine physician at Dean Clinic in Baraboo, WI. Dr. Kling’s specific professional interests include general family medicine including women’s health and pediatrics.
Outside of work, Dr. Kling enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings.
