This year marks the 45th anniversary of the Department of Family Medicine and name change to include Community Health.  We are excited to announce several events to celebrate this special occasion.

DFMCH Jackets for Employees

In honor of the 45th anniversary and in recognition of the hard work you do every day, we are pleased to offer faculty and staff the opportunity to order DFMCH jackets.  Each employee is eligible for one jacket at no cost to you. Different styles, colors and sizes are available:

Whole Me, Whole We: Our Roadmap to Wellness Learning Event

Our local experts will teach about self-care, patient empowerment, clinical tools to promote healthy behaviors and how the concept of “whole health” can support better health for yourself, your patients, your care team and our community. CME is available.

Celebration Reception

The Department of Family Medicine and Community will celebrate our 45th anniversary with a reception on Friday, October 23rd. Faculty, staff, alumni, learners and friends are invited to join us as we see old friends, make new friends, share pictures and stories, and toast to 45 years of health living here in Wisconsin. Community Service Opportunities

In conjunction with the 45th anniversary and in recognition of the name change of our department to include community health, the Executive Team and Office of Community Health are exploring departmental volunteer opportunities in our local communities.
