Blue Sky Events: May 2015

There are two statewide Blue Sky videoconference sessions happening in May. We'll hear from Sharon Adams of Walnut Way on May 1st regarding community health. On May 14th, futurist Rebecca Ryan will join us to consider healthcare of tomorrow. The purpose of these sessions is to bring in outside perspectives to expand our knowledge of best practices and innovative ideas. These guest speakers will help us increase our choices as we consider the future of our department.

Data Analysis: April 2015

The data from the DFM Strategic Planning survey are being analyzed now. A final report will be presented to the ReCHARGED Steering Group on May 13th. We look forward to sharing those results with you! They will be posted on our website, sent via email and shared at in-person meetings.

Opportunities Conference: June 2015

At this conference, the results of the data gathering survey and listening sessions will be used to prioritize the 8 to 10 key operational issues DFM must be address because they stand in the way of our efforts to create a more ideal future. Participation in the conference(s) will include shareholders across DFM. The Conference is critical to the Plan's success as participants will achieve agreement on a prioritized list of issues which will be delegated to select Task Forces.

Task Forces: June-August 2015

Task Forces will be appointed by the Steering Committee with input from the Executive Team to address the 8 to 10 areas identified at the Opportunities Conference. Each Task Force will create a concept paper of their issue and provide the context for key challenge assigned to them, describe how DFM stakeholders see the issue and identify best practices regarding the issue.Proposals by these Task Forces will outline specific objectives answer the questions: Who? What? Where? When?

Vision Conferences: September 2015

These are community events to create an informed and shared picture of the future. New faces, in addition to some of those who attended the Opportunities Conferences, will be invited to participate. Members of the Steering Group will integrate all of the proposals into a first draft of the Strategic Plan.Executive Team and Leadership Council will craft final recommendations of strategic goals.

Implementation and Ongoing Reporting: Fall 2015 & beyond

The action plans will be living documents. They will be updated and amended as need. Ongoing progress reports will be made to the Executive Team.
