The National Collaborative to Improve PrimAry Care Through Industrial and Systems Engineering (I-PrACTISE) will hold its Second Annual Meeting in Madison, Wisconsin March 9 – 11, 2014.   This collaborative, which was started by the late Ben-Tzion Karsh, Ph.D., has brought together primary care clinicians and industrial engineers over a 12 year period to use the tools and methods of engineering to improve the quality of primary care while improving the quality of work life for clinicians and staff.

Request for Presentations / Posters

The 2014 conference will have opportunities for poster and podium presentations of work in progress and workshops which will focus on themes of:  Cognitive Support Needs, Patient Engagement, Care for Community, Integration of care, and Transitions of Care. 

 We invite Industrial Engineers, primary care clinicians and allied disciplines to join us.  The deadline for applications for poster and presentation submissions will be Feb 15, 2014 .  To be on the mailing list or for additional information, please contact either john.beasley@fammed.wisc.edu or pdgreene@wisc.edu.
