Faculty Profile: Jennifer Lochner, MD

Please welcome Jennifer Lochner, M.D., to the Department of Family Medicine.  Jennifer joined the faculty at Belleville Family Medicine last December.

Jennifer received her bachelor and medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed her residency at the Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, where she also completed a Chief Resident fellowship.  While working as an instructor and later an assistant professor in Family Medicine at OHSU, Jennifer also completed a faculty development fellowship and served as an Associate Residency Director and Medical Director of her clinic.  She has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Portland Monthly magazine and by the OHSU Family Medicine residents as a Faculty Teacher of the Year.

Jennifer’s professional interests include full spectrum Family Medicine including inpatient work and maternity care.  Teaching is a joy, mostly because of the wonderful people the department manages to recruit as residents.

Outside of medicine, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and her two young children, ages 3 and 6.  She loves reading and misses her book club from Portland.  Summer weekends are often spent visiting her folks in Waupaca and enjoying the lakes – swimming, waterskiing and doing crossword puzzles on the dock.  During morning report she is one of the people working on a knitting project in the back of the room.

Welcome Jennifer!
