  3. New Faculty Announcement: Andrew Quanbeck, PhD

    We are pleased Andrew Quanbeck, PhD, has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health as an Assistant Professor.

    Starting March 1, 2017, Dr. Quanbeck will be conducting research in the area of health systems engineering and health economic analysis, as well as assisting the Institute of Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) to advance dissemination and implementation of research and activities in health sciences.   5. New Faculty Announcement: Jamie Kling, DO

    We are pleased Jamie Kling, DO, has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
     
    Starting April 1, 2017, Dr. Kling will be caring for patients in the UW Health Portage Clinic, teaching medical students and other learners, and participating in med/peds faculty call and nursing home care, in addition to serving as an educator in the statewide DO residency program.
     
    Dr. Kling has a medical degree from Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.

  9. New Faculty Announcement: David Kiefer, MD

    We are pleased David Kiefer, MD, has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
     
    Since October of 2016, Dr. Kiefer has been working as a float physician at the UW Health Arboretum Clinic in addition to being a Longitudinal Teaching Coach for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, providing Integrative Medicine consultations for the Research Park Clinic, and assisting with a research project within the Institute of Aging.

    We are pleased Karina Atwell, MD, MPH has joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health as an Assistant Professor (CHS).

    Since September of 2016, Dr. Atwell has been providing patient care and teaching clinical care to medical students and resident physicians at the UW Health Verona Clinic.
